Các mục gắn nhãn “AI” do AI soạn thảo.

VocabMaster Lookup – Privacy Policy

Updated: 18 Oct 2026

VocabMaster Lookup does not collect, store on developer servers, sell or share user data for advertising or analytics.

Data stored on your device

Saved words, preferences (E-E/E-V mode, magnifier button) and, if you enter one, your Gemini API key are stored with chrome.storage in your browser. The API key is kept for at most 4 weeks (then you must re-enter it), is not synced across devices and is never sent to the developer.

Data sent to third parties (only when you use the feature)

• Lookups outside the bundled dictionary: the extension downloads public data files from l2practice.github.io; the server may see the file name corresponding to the looked-up word.
• Sentence translation: the text you select is sent to MyMemory (api.mymemory.translated.net).
• AI features: the text you select is sent to Google Gemini (generativelanguage.googleapis.com) using your own API key, under Google's policies.

The extension does not read, store or transmit page content unless you select text and click lookup, translate or AI.
